WHAT MAKES YOU UNPRODUCTIVE

We're not machines. There's a lot wearing us down. And that is why productivity is comparatively harder for us. For example, a computer won't feel bad if someone yells at it. But a human would replay that event in his/her head several times and feel worse with each passing minute.

So, here's the first factor to check in case of worsening productivity; emotional stability. The better you feel, the more productive you will be. At least, that's what sustainable productivity is about.

Secondly, there needs to be a proper routine. The sun rises and sets at (almost) the same time every day. Imagine what would happen if it just....got lazy about it?

You are the center of your own little solar system. Things depend on you. Hence, being bound to a routine will fix a lot of problems.

Physical health should have been higher on the list. But it wasn't. I guess we never pay enough attention to it.

Are you exercising enough? Is your diet healthy? How's your water intake? Trust me, all this affects your productivity more than you know.

Next up, is a tricky one. I'm talking about your thoughts. I'd like to call this the traffic in your mind. If you're constantly thinking about what you'll do next or what you've done earlier, you're not going to be productive.

That's because you're not focusing on the task at hand. And that is the biggest problem.

We're going to discuss more factors soon. But for now, I'll leave you to think about which one of these applies to you. I hope it makes you aware and able to think of solutions!
